García Pimienta appeared in the press room of the Gran Canaria Stadium after the draw against Villarreal CF B. "The draw doesn't sit well with me, we had chances to score the second goal. Nerves got to us towards the end of the match, there was a lack of concentration in Villarreal's set piece and it penalized us with the draw," were his first words.

Some of his statements were:

"The team is playing well, but when you're winning, you have to protect yourself. I didn't make substitutions thinking about the Cartagena game."

"We had chances, if we had been more accurate, we would have won the match. For example, we generated few chances against Levante, but today it wasn't the case."

"We'll try to make it not a tough blow. When you're winning and get a late equalizer, you feel like you lost two points, as it was the case, but we have another game against Cartagena to keep depending on ourselves."

"I had the feeling that it would come down to the last matchday. If we want to have real chances, we have to win in Cartagena, there's no other way."
