McKenna: “La LALIGA is top-notch, on par with the Premier League, and I hope that experience helps me adapt.”
The new yellow addition highlighted that he is “excited to be at UD Las Palmas, and it’s a big challenge to come to a new league.”
Scott McKenna was introduced this morning as the new center-back for UD Las Palmas. In his first comments, he expressed being “very happy to be here; it’s a great opportunity for me.” The new signing mentioned that “Las Palmas was the club that excited me the most in recent weeks.”
Here are some of his statements:
“I’ve played in both a back four and a back three, so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Lately, I’ve been playing more in a back three, but I’m more than capable of adapting to a back four.”
“Obviously, it might take a few weeks to adapt to the style of play and the way the coach wants us to play, but I hope to learn quickly.”
“Of course, La Liga is a high-level league. It’s on par with the Premier League. I had a great time at Nottingham Forest, played against some excellent teams, and I hope that experience helps me settle in here.”
“We want to try to play attacking football. They’ve made some signings, including Oli. We like to try to keep possession and dominate in every match.”
