In just 37 seconds, the ball came close to Dmitrovic's goal. After pressure and a steal, Sandro placed a low ball into the heart of the box, met by Viera's left-footed strike. However, the ball crossed near the goal line, narrowly missing its target.

That was UD Las Palmas' introduction at the Pizjuán, responding immediately to the home team's vibrant atmosphere. It was former Las Palmas player Rafa Mir who responded with a shot in the 8th minute, cleared for a corner by Álvaro Valles.

Las Palmas was forced to weather the initial wave of attacks from the home team while maintaining defensive organization. They also pushed forward with intent. The second chance for Las Palmas came at the 15-minute mark, with a shot from Kirian that also came close to the Andalusian goal.

As the most impulsive minutes of the Seville team passed, UD Las Palmas began to establish their style of play. Munir was the next protagonist in the visiting attack, at a point when Las Palmas had crossed the local defensive line. The Moroccan forward finished a team play in the 26th minute, but the powerful shot also narrowly missed the Andalusian goal.

García Pimienta's players reached halftime with better sensations and a hopeful goalless draw. Although the referee disallowed a goal from Sevilla's Ocampos for an offside call in the preceding action.

The second half started with excitement and new chances on both sides of the field. First, a save by Valles against Sow. Then, a double chance for Sandro and Sory Kaba saved by Dmitrovic and Sergio Ramos (with his arm close to his body). The final shot from the Guinean forward was heading for the net when it hit the body of the veteran international defender.

The uncertainty on the scoreboard was also due to chances in both defensive areas. Sevilla took the lead with a shot from Lukébakio. In the previous action, Álvaro Valles had rejected a header from En Nesyri, but his teammate capitalized on the rebound to score the 1-0.

Las Palmas went on the hunt for an equalizer in the final stages of the match. The visiting team created several risky chances deserving of the sought-after reward. The best of these opportunities was at the feet of Javi Muñoz, with a point-blank shot that Dmitrovic saved by placing his face in the path of the shot.

Until the final play of the evening, danger loomed in the Seville area, with a cross-shot from Sergi Cardona that Sory Kaba nearly pounced on in the mouth of the goal. However, the score remained 1-0.
