The game on the 19th day comes three days after the play in Gijón. UD Las Palmas' starting lineup on Tuesday featured three newcomers. Mfulu, who was suspended in Oviedo, returned, as did Oscar Clemente and Marc Cardona, both in forefront positions.

There was no relief in the match against Oviedo. And UD Las Palmas couldn't relax against a team whose pressure made visiting moves more tough. At 15, Marc Cardona's shot after taking a corner was the deepest attacking proposition from the yellows in the first half. Later, in minute 26, another by Fran Pejiño was recorded following a ball refusal. He didn't, however, find Braat's goal.

For UD Las Palmas, those were the two chances they had in the opening frame. Perhaps as a result of the match's lead not being as clear-cut as in previous encounters, as had occurred in Gijón a few days prior. The fact that García Pimienta's players were unable to display their best selves on the field suggested that Oviedo's physical strategy of applying pressure to the yellows had been successful.

At the game's halftime, the score was a scoreless draw. At halftime, García Pimienta made two changes to the starting lineup, replacing Eric Curbelo and Pejio with Sidnei and Marvin Park, respectively. Las Palmas eventually shown its teeth in the restart's ball movement. Everything took place on the right wing, where Marvin Park and Clemente each signed up for three opportunities. The greatest came from Park, who passed the ball into the area without allowing a teammate to complete the play.

Borja Bastón's shooting in the 53rd minute gave Oviedo an excellent opportunity. Oviedo replied quickly. The crossbar, however, was the barrier over which the leather bounced to reach the field. Both sides' goals had shifted as the game's tempo and intensity increased.

The afternoon, though, became risky for the yellows in the closing stages. Plans were altered by Loiodice's double card. At in order to rebuild the block in the back, Fabio committed an offensive player (Clemente) from García Pimienta and ran into the pitch.

It was now time to suffer. At minute 81, Alex Dominguez's glove looked to contact just enough of a ball delivered with strength by Jimmy. The last major event, though, was for Andone. The Romanian used a gap in the defences to launch a missile that passed the Oviedo area and was on its way to the target. However, the score for the two contenders remained unchanged.
